Answering these questions can be the secret in unlocking the doors to our breakthrough in life. Success in life is generally 99% hardworking, 1% luck. Lets discuss one of the secret in putting ourselves on the fast track.
The Multiplication & Addition Effect
Lets go a little back in time to our algebra. I know most of us might not like mathematics, but am sure we will be able to perform these simple calculations. Get your calculators ready, its time for some algebra.
A) 1 + 1 = 2
1 * 1 = 2
B) 2 + 2 = 4
2 * 2 = 4
C) 3 + 3 = 6
3 * 3 = 9
D) 4 + 4 = 8
4 * 4 = 16
E) 5 + 5 = 10
5 * 5 = 25
F) 6 + 6 = 12
6 * 6 = 36
Taking a look at the calculations above, at the beginning when we started in A with "1", addition and multiplication had the same result. Also in B, they still had the same result. But as we progress further, we start seeing slight difference in the results. Progressing further, the difference increases. If we further continue, we will see that the difference will be so large and continues to increase.
Small differences in short time yield big differences. We all started on level tracks with most of our colleagues but after sometime, we find out that some are ahead of us; they are on the fast track while we are lagging behind. We might have previously been in the same class, probably we were room mate, but how come they put their self on the fast track using the multiplication effect while we are still stuck on a slower track using the addition effect?
Locating your track
Determine your purpose in life. A man without purpose is like a time bomb waiting to explode. If it means having some personal time, do that to determine what you were created in earth for.
A bird can go to school to study swimming; learn both basic and advanced swimming skills, achieve a doctorate degree in swimming going further to be a lecturer in swimming. With all knowledge and skills the bird has learned doesn't mean it will be able to live under water. Discover where you are meant to be; if it means burning the social labels and changing jobs, do that. Because you've studied and attained a degree in a field doesn't mean that is the field that will bring out the best in you. Discover it and stick to it.
