1. Discover Your Gift or Talent
There are somethings in which you know you're good at, you experience little or no difficulties when doing anything relating to it; that is your gift or talent. You might say to yourself that I have no gift or talent, there is nothing good I can do. I don't believe that. Everybody has a gift or talent, but the problem is that they have totally neglected their gift therefore making it diminish.
Discover your gift and nurture it. Expand your gifts, push beyond the limits of your gift. When you've discovered it, you are ready for...
2. Refine Your Gift or Talent
Being good is no longer enough in our competitive world. You have to be at your best all the time. Being good at singing isn't good enough, learn how to be a professional musician. Playing football isn't good enough, be a professional soccer player.Develop your talent to being a professional. Take the required necessary steps to transform your gift into a skill. You have to refine your gift into a skill-set. Nobody wants to pay for services from an amateur, people want to work with professionals.
Proverb say
Never say you have learned enough. We're in an evolving word, keep on updating your knowledge in your field. Being ignorant of the Law of Gravity doesn't mean you won't fall when you jump-off a cliff."Wisdom is too high for a fool". (Proverbs 24:7)
3. Add Value To People
This is the most important step. Prosperity comes as a result of continuous addition of value to people. You don't wish for prosperity or hope for it. Riches is a reward you get for adding value. Most people find it difficult to do this thing, but there are mainly 3 ways for adding value to people.
a) Solve a Problem: We are in a society with abundant problems. All you need to do is to pick a problem and with your refined gift, you solve the problem. An example of solving a problem is the way Apple Incorporation solved the problem of portability. They saw the problem people experienced due to size of their devices and brought a solution which is sleeker devices with more capabilities.
b) Improve on an Existing Solution: This is about you improving on an existing solution, repackaging the solution and making it more convenient for people. An example of this is the service Amazon offers. You can now purchase goods on the go, and have it brought to your door steps.
c) Prevent The End of Something Good: This is about being a force of good to stop something bad. This is where you find people like Nelson Mandela. Mahatma Gandhi.
Choose one of the three ways and continuously add value to people. Improve on the solution you have until you start seeing results.
Conclusion
Experiencing prosperity doesn't come in a day. It is a result of the addition of your decisions, choices and actions. It all ends up on your desire for success. Lastly, nobody knows your true worth except you.
