1.  Humility

Condescend to people of low esteem. Don't put yourself higher than what you are. Relate with those below you, don't feel they are small to relate with. Most people have missed a lot of privilege and opportunity due to such. learn to accept everyone the way they present themselves, don't look down on anyone. Respect their opinion and stay humble.

2.  Talk less

It is more reasonable to listen more often than to give speech. Be quick to hear, slow to speak. The more you listen the more you acquire knowledge. Listening will increase your capacity to learn. It will rest your tongue and will allow people to relate well with you.

3.  Look before you leap

Don't be in a hurry to do something. Don't precipitate, take time to think things through. Don't plunge into that project, business, relationship or contract without thinking hard and possibly contacting experts or people who are better experienced at it. Always ask for a second opinion. A lot of people have done things without thinking through and are left with regrets now over such. No matter how enticing the offer may be even when  you are sure look again before embarking on it.

4.  Hasty conclusion

Don't always conclude hastily without listening to the conclusion. Give people a soft landing. Let others speak while you listen. Let them give their explanation before concluding or give reply to it, don't shut them up. Let people get angry while you cool them down. Let them complete a sentence before you interrupt. Even when they fail, be courteous, understanding, tender, keep their dignity intact and let them find support in you.

5.  Leave a legacy

Make up your mind and determine to leave everywhere you go a little bit better than you met it, be it a job, school, community and most importantly make a decision and determine to leave a legacy, determine to leave a mark for those coming after you so you can be acknowledge. Leave a foot mark that can be followed. Don't always complain, strive to make do with what you have and been given by so doing you are making an impact in peoples live. Be an agent of change. Make a difference.

In conclusion
