5 Steps in Bouncing Back After Past Failures

Everyone has once failed and not lived to expectation in one area of life or more. But in most cases, people take their failure as final and make their failure final by refusing to bounce back. These are 5 ways to bounce back from your past failure.
5 Steps in Bouncing Back After Past Failures

1  Accepting your Past but not accepting it has being final.

The first step in solving any real life problem (whether addiction or a societal problem) is accepting that there is a problem. The first step in bouncing back is accepting the reality that you have previously failed. Most times, people who have problems fail to accept that they have a problem. People who think they are perfect have serious problems. What you shouldn't accept is that your failure is final. There is still something you can do to recover.

2  Believe in Your Abilities

A lot have been said about the word believe but the fact is that is you can't believe, you can't achieve. Success comes in two steps: believing and then achieving. If you don't believe, then you can't achieve. If don't believe you can bounce back from your past failures then you can't bounce back.

3  Voice out your Past Failures

A problem shared with the right person is a problem half solved. Staying in isolation will only increase the probability of you continuously failing. The first step in breaking an addiction is exposing your addiction. I know some people might criticize you, but what really matters is not the words they spoke but your future.
Look for people who have gone through that similar problem and eventually came out on top and ask them how they overcame the problem. You can also look for a mentor who can teach you how to stop being a failure and be that success in which you are.

4  Don't procrastinate, start now

The reason failures remain failures is because of their never ending procrastination. Quit the excuses and start now. Giving excuses haven't taken you anywhere and still won't take you anywhere. Make that decision today; right now. Don't be scared of what your friends will say. All what matters is your happiness and only you have the power to make that possible.

5  Keep on going

I remember some time in the past when I wanted to break off an addiction. I had passed all the previous steps but after a while, I usually find myself doing what I said I would stop. There will be hard times, there will be drawbacks, but the most important thing is to keep on going.
While bouncing back from your past failure you will meet stumbling blocks. You might even find yourself doing what you initially said you want to quit. But the secret to bouncing back quickly is not giving up. Persistence is what makes you prevail.

After Thought

Don't accept that you are a failure. You were made for more than what you think you are.
