At last Christmas is here again. For some, we finally get that deserved break from work. So how do we make the best out of this holiday we are being given? These are 3 tips on how to spend your Christmas holiday.
Spend time with loved ones
Due to work or some other activities, we might not have been privileged to spend time with our loved ones. Christmas is an opportunity for you to show love to people around you, your family, friends, colleagues; or show love to the society, visit an orphanage home, visit people who suffered from a disaster. Spending the holiday showing love to people is a way we can renew our strength or energy by tapping into our least used energy, the voice of our spirit. It can also be a way we can discover life's purpose. Most of the great people the world have celebrated all found their purpose with a little act of love.
Evaluate your achievements for the year
Evaluation is an important activity in every individual's life. Evaluating helps check the progress you have made and how many of the goals set you have accomplished before the end of the year. This Christmas holiday is an opportunity for you to do just that. Through evaluation you can also find some of the mistakes you made throughout the year. We shouldn't dwell much on those mistakes, we should only understand the pattern that led to the mistake and prevent the pattern from repeating itself.Behind every success and failure there is a pattern. If you don't know where you went wrong, you will repeat your mistake. You are where you are now because of the mistakes you kept making. We all make mistakes but it is what we do next that counts.
Set goals for next year
Not failing to plan is planning to fail. Make use of this holiday to start plans for the new year, set goals and make a strategy to reach your goals. Goals are important for our progress. They serves as a target for us. Not setting your goals for the next year is like playing a football match without a goal post. The football match looses its meaning.
